Website design By BotEap.comHappy New Year!

Website design By BotEap.comWe are already saying goodbye to this year and preparing to receive the next one! Regardless of how the last twelve months have turned out for you, I want to invite you to bring love into this New Year. To do that, we must consider what we find unpleasant this year and then release it and let it go. If our energy or focus is stuck in the past, it is unlikely that we will be able to be conscious co-creators with the universe for our future. We should also think about what was something that we promised ourselves we would do last year and that we never quite achieved. You see, sometimes this little thing called inertia sets in and prevents us from fulfilling our dreams and goals. Inertia is very subtle and is often camouflaged in indecision, confusion, and fear. Take a minute and identify what you could have done differently and promise yourself that this year you will make it happen. Be sure to tell a best friend so that you are responsible for manifesting this goal. Change happens one decision at a time.

Website design By BotEap.comTo help you bring love into this New Year, I’d like to invite you to consider how you can expand your creativity in your life. When we are not being creative, our enthusiasm for life diminishes and the days can become routine and we disconnect from love. However, when we add an element of creativity to our lives by developing a project, a skill, a gift, or a creation, we have that to look forward to, and that creation brings a sense of purpose, joy, and self-love. Then we can move from divine discontent to creative contentment. In the process, we also unite with our souls through this act of creative self-expression. One cannot get stuck in self-pity and fear when their energy and focus are on creativity. They do not coexist.

Your personal self steps aside and this greater energy of life and creativity arises. This creativity that inspires you can prompt others to connect with their divine higher self. Examples of this are: Rumi’s poems, Mozart’s compositions and Georgia O’Keeffe’s paintings. If you have ever walked through a maze, you can feel the grace of the spirit that built it. Conversely, when our lives are focused solely on earning money, going to work, or performing routine tasks, we miss out on a vital component to living a fulfilling life. Creativity nourishes our soul and connects us with our source self.

Website design By BotEap.comIt is important that we always continue to grow, learn and evolve. I recently heard a friend say that “if we’re not growing, then we’re dying.” While this is a very strong statement, it implies that growth is life and stagnation is death.

Website design By BotEap.comImagine that you could have a conversation with your future self ten years from now. Let’s suppose that your previous version of you may reveal a very important aspect of your life that you are currently worried or concerned about. What would your future self recommend to you to reach this new higher level of creativity, happiness and peace in your life? Maybe you would quit your job and start your own business, or design a house, write a book, write a blog, sing, paint, dance, or become a radio talk show host. The possibilities are endless!

Website design By BotEap.comWe must value our creative selves as much as our responsible, hard-working selves that want to provide for and protect us. Our creativity is a God-given gift for us to use to add vitality and meaning to our lives. In this New Year, take the time to discover your own creative outlet and then do it. You will be glad you did!
