A real estate seller or dealer employed by a broker is released from this trust by paying the funds to the seller. Consistent with the trust relationship is the accounting and recording that is required of a real estate merchant or seller in connection with client money. The obligations that a merchant must fulfill with respect to customer money can be summarized as follows:
