We’ve really made life difficult by allowing ourselves to get sucked into general “diet” beliefs, like counting calories for weight loss, low-fat foods for weight loss, sugar-free foods for weight loss, the list goes on and on. But all you really need to know to lose weight naturally and effortlessly is what foods to eat, what exercise to do, and how to change the way you think about food.

Website design By BotEap.comWhat foods should you eat to lose weight?

Website design By BotEap.comI once went on a 3-month natural raw food diet. The only cooked food I ate was some feta cheese and chickpeas. I lost a lot of weight and felt really good! It was so liberating to be on this raw food diet, because I stopped thinking about dieting and losing weight, and just ate whatever I wanted, as long as it was raw and natural. I can comfortably say that you can eat the following in any quantity as long as you stick to what’s on this list – the general rule of thumb is that it just has to be any unprocessed and unrefined food, so I may have Dropped some foods, but be your own judge.

Website design By BotEap.comThe combination of foods (not eating specific foods together) also works well, because it ensures rapid digestion, which influences weight loss.

Website design By BotEap.comBut the most important aspect of losing weight naturally is eating what God intended the human body to consume: natural, whole foods, free of additives and other toxins. In other words, the best foods to eat are the ones that spoil in a couple of days. This, of course, does not include canned vegetables that can last for years! Please understand that if something has a long shelf life, you have to wonder what has been added to it to make it last.

Website design By BotEap.comDifferent exercises do different things for the body. Ideally, you need a combination of cardio (anything that makes your heart beat faster), as well as weights and stretching. You should do a minimum of 30 minutes of exercise a day, and you should strain your body in these exercises, which means some heavy breathing and sweating.

Website design By BotEap.comChanging the way you think about food:

Website design By BotEap.comThis is the key to permanent weight loss. Food must be considered necessary for survival. It should not be used to fill an inner void, or for entertainment when bored, or for comfort. As I mentioned, I went on a raw food diet for 3 months, but I hadn’t addressed the way I related to food, so when I finished the raw food diet, I put on all the weight that I had lost and more. Without addressing this vital aspect, you are not likely to lose weight permanently.
