When we shop for clothing, food, and durable goods, we tend to really examine various aspects of what we are buying: cost, quality, depending on the reputation of where we buy it. The “new” mathematics, as it is called, may differ from the way you were taught mathematics thirty years ago; 2) Have credentials or be qualified to be a math tutor based on your background; and 3) Be able to instruct not only through knowledge of books, but also be able to communicate the concepts taught in an easy, concise and down-to-earth way to ensure that the student retains information.
