Chaldean numerology says that letters have meanings. So what do your initials say about you?

Website design By BotEap.comIf you’ve read any of my previous articles on the hidden meanings behind the letters in your name, it should come as no surprise that I tell you that your initials really do mean something. Mine are HALs, like the crazy on-board computer in Kubrick’s Odyssey, but that’s another story. So what are your initials? Wondering what they might have to say about you?

Website design By BotEap.comWell, that’s why I’m here: to let you in on this secret that you probably didn’t even know you were keeping.

Website design By BotEap.comBriefly, the practice of numerology dates back hundreds of years before Mr. Pythagoras burst onto the scene: he was the Greek mathematician who popularized the so-called “Western” system that is still in use today. However, the father of this system was known as ‘Chaldean’ as it dates back to an area called Chaldea (also known as the ‘cradle of civilization’). Even modern numerologists often agree that the Chaldean chart is much more accurate, but they also agree that it is too difficult for the average brain to understand. One of the unusual aspects of this ancient art was and is that it involves the elementary meanings of each of the letters of our alphabet; after all, it is very unlikely that the alphabet fell from the sky one fine morning: it had a different beginning and grew up based on a system similar to ‘hieroglyphs’ in which each symbol had a particular meaning or set of meanings .

Website design By BotEap.comIs one of your initials an M or a D or maybe a T? Since all these letters are governed by the number four (which is very reliable and consistent, consider the 4 seasons, the 4 winds, the 4 directions, the 4 corners of a house), it is very likely to be considered as responsible, reliable , stable and loyal. And there’s also a good chance that he really does have all these admirable and honorable traits.

Website design By BotEap.comHowever, there is more to the picture: if the D/4 is a gate; the M/4 a Mountain (mountain range) and the T/4 a plus sign (+), so the D might need to open up to other views; the M might need to vent and the T might need to understand that less is more; in other words, a thousand interests do not allow experience in many, while one allows mastery.

Website design By BotEap.comTo give it another twist, think of the D, or the ‘Door’ again. We need to ‘travel’ through a Spell Gate to become… Dead. We also have to travel through a gate to… Dream. Doors can be seen as the dividers between light and dark, health and disease; Near and Far. Can you imagine the energy of the D? It can be closed or it can be open, the choice is up to the individual, but in general, the D is challenged to open; take risks, get out of your comfort zone… and let go of control at least once in a while.

Website design By BotEap.comRight, now that I’ve started, I guess I shouldn’t leave all of you Ms and Ts hanging.

Website design By BotEap.comThe M is the only letter of the alphabet that is pronounced with the mouth closed — and that is illustrative of its meaning — visualize the strength of a threatening and silent mountain and you will understand the essence of the M. Like any good mountain , it is likely that it explodes at some point, but on a daily basis it tends to stay hidden, everything is contained under a mantle of rock or an impassive exterior. The M refers to that which is hidden or secret in some way, but is very real even in its camouflage… the words mother (to think in gestation), marine (to think below the surface), magic and mystery suggest its energies ‘covers’. . The typical M will probably benefit, as mentioned, from letting off steam once in a while and letting others know what’s going on inside their proverbial ‘mountain’ before they develop a crack and go sky high.

Website design By BotEap.comThe T/4, on the other hand, refers to the plus sign (+) and as such is energetic, social, and interested in just about anything, and therein lies his ‘rub’. The T can have so many interests (whether they involve people, places, or things) that it can be difficult to build foundations and compromise. Translated, the T often has many mistresses, jobs, homes… you get the idea, right? The weird thing is that no matter how many of the above the T is involved with, it will always result in duration being the operative word here is ‘duration’!
