Many fish traders sell piranhas and they can be purchased fully adult or juvenile. Always keep 4-6 piranhas as this will help distribute aggression and help weaker fish survive. In the aquarium, an average Pirahna can grow to a length of 10 to 12 inches depending on the size of the aquarium and the density of the fish, but it can grow up to 18 inches in the wild.
