There is so much to see in London that I think you could be there for two weeks and not see it all. I’m going to tell you about the main things I saw.

Website design By BotEap.comI was first lucky enough to take a tour of the Parliament building. This building was amazing and the story behind each room was intense. Knowing that the kings and queens of England had been where you stand was amazing. I could not believe the history that has taken place there and the tradition of everything that happens inside. If you get a chance, I suggest you go and look at it because the amount of marble and gold inside is ridiculous.

Website design By BotEap.comAnother must-see site in London is St. Paul’s Cathedral. I suggest taking a tour when you are inside because you will learn so much more than just walking. For example, you will learn what the third cathedral in that place looks like and how it was saved from bombs during the war. I also suggest that you walk all 435 steps, or whatever. It is worth it because the view you get is unbeatable. The view of London from that height is incredible and can be seen for miles. When you are inside and on the first platform on the way up, you should try to talk to someone on the other side. In fact, you can speak next to the wall and someone on the other side can hear you if your ear is against the wall. This is because the wall forms a circle. It is much more fun than it sounds.

Website design By BotEap.comAnother thing you should do if you have the chance is to see the Queen and / or the royal family. When I was there, it was Queens’s birthday and she had a parade. The amount of people that showed up was staggering and can’t really be described. You and I don’t really think about this, but some people live there just wanting to see the Queen once. It is also essential to take a tour of one of the castles. Seeing how they lived a long time ago and how they still live in them today is crazy. Learning how they used to wear down or the lack of it is also quite interesting. Also how they used to protect the castle and how they still have to keep the castle in good condition. I learned that the family that owns the castle has a purpose in life and it is to earn money to keep the castle in good condition.
