Website design By BotEap.comOf all our founding fathers, it was Thomas Jefferson who understood that education was vital to the preservation of our freedom. He also knew that abuses of power would undermine and eventually destroy the republic. Today, too many of our elected officials are out of control. Case in point, the Trump Administration. It is in our education that is essential for the preservation of our heritage. But, much of which has been omitted. For more than a hundred years, the United States continues to operate on the fiction of law. What we mean by fiction of law is that “something known to be false is supposed to be true.” So says Ryan v. Motor Credit Co., 130 NJEq. 531.23 A.2d 607.621. “That statute which would deprive a citizen of the rights of person or property without regular trial in accordance with the course and use of common law, would not be the law of the land.”

Jefferson goes on to say: “An enlightened citizenry is indispensable to the proper functioning of a republic. Self-government is not possible unless the citizens are sufficiently educated to enable them to exercise oversight. It is therefore imperative that the nation ensure that that an adequate education be provided for all its citizens”.

Website design By BotEap.comThe circumstances in which we live our lives today are ruled by a ruling class that we have not chosen. We have been led to believe otherwise. Still too many are not fully aware of how our lives are actually controlled. We were all taught that getting a good education and working hard are the paths to a more successful and enriching life. That may have been true a long time ago. But, today no matter how hard we work, it is as if we took a step forward but in truth we went back two steps or more. As for education, the decline is almost total. Only now have many of us begun to realize the extent of the collateral damage that was done to our society some 40 years ago by the poor educational standards that were employed in too many school districts across the country.

Freedom, Justice, Education and Morality; These are the Principles on which our democracy was founded. Where are they today? America is being brought to the brink of implosion by corporate greed, the ineptitude of elected officials, and our own apathy. Over the last 40 years we have witnessed a steady decline, an almost total evaporation of the ideals and principles that made the United States a leader among the nations of the world. In doing so, we now face an uncertain future, a sociological and economic decline unprecedented in our history. If we fail to act and continue to ignore our true history and the attention of Thomas Jefferson, America’s future is in grave jeopardy.
