Exploit your potential customers online by using PPC to determine your target audience

Website design By BotEap.comIf you want to increase web traffic to your site, you may have considered article marketing. This is a solid part of your traffic generation strategy, but it is imperative that you complete your keyword research beforehand. However, this process requires time and knowledge, and there is no guarantee that you will achieve the traffic you are estimating. But what is more important, it has a new campaign and there is no proof that it is really profitable. Fortunately, you can use PPC to drive a small group of targeted traffic to your offer and monitor the response. Kind of like a focus group for your web campaign.

Website design By BotEap.comDon’t worry about making a profit with your new PPC campaign, but instead focus on getting some real metrics to analyze. You want to create some traffic to your site, through your email funnel, to your landing page, whatever. If you make some sales or generate some leads in the process, that’s gravy, but you’re paying for the information first and foremost.

You might want to take a look at improving your landing page copy, call-to-action, load time, fonts, etc. But if I had 25-50 people signed up instead, then I would focus my initial energy on monitoring the follow-up email campaign to see how people reacted.

Website design By BotEap.comThe most important part of the puzzle is setting up conversion tracking. By adding an AdWords code snippet to your web page, you can track the action your visitors take until they get the desired result, like seeing a thank you page. Being able to effectively monitor which keywords are generating the highest conversions could be useful information not only for your paid traffic generation strategies, but also for your free traffic strategies.

Remember, start small and iteratively work your way through your campaign testing and improving each area. A/B test your ads, landing page, offer, images, etc. be methodical. Repeat until the result justifies your ad spend, whether in terms of list built, product sold, or whatever metric you’re using as a benchmark for success.

Website design By BotEap.comEvery time you review something, run another benchmark and see what’s improved. For example, if an ad has been shown for a keyword 500 times and hasn’t gotten any clicks, you might want to discard it and focus on a different one.
