Website design By BotEap.comFirst of all, you need Fantastico. You will find that in panel C of your web server as long as you have a web server that includes that program. If not, consider buying one that does.

Website design By BotEap.comNext, you need to go to your dashboard. So type in your domain name and then add a forward slash and the word “cpanel”.

Website design By BotEap.comOnce you are logged in, you will find your dashboard with a bunch of little images divided by headings. Scroll to near the bottom of the page and you will see a heading called Software Services.

Website design By BotEap.comRight in the middle, in the second row, there is a smiling face. That’s Mr. Fantastico, your new best friend. He will help you set up WordPress in seconds.

Website design By BotEap.comSo the next thing you need to do is click Fantastic. On the Fantastico home page, you will see a navigation bar on the left side. Look for Blogs and then WordPress, and click on that. This will take you to the WordPress installation page.

Website design By BotEap.comThen click on new installation. You will see a small scroll bar for the domains you have on your account. Select the domain name where you want to install your blog. If you have a new account, there will only be one domain name.

Website design By BotEap.comRight below that, there is an option that says, install to directory. If you want it in the main domain, leave it blank. If you want to put it in a subdirectory, for example one called “blog”, write it in that field. Make sure the directory you specify DOES NOT already exist, or else Fantastico will be very confused.

Website design By BotEap.comThen you write an email account, the name of your blog, the short description of your blog. Make sure the email address is one that you actually verify, because that is where you will email if they have problems. Note that you will be able to change all of them later.
