Website design By BotEap.comGood old Cap was shot recently on the courthouse steps. He was charged with fighting the Registration Act after the Civil War. An obsessed follower of the Law shot Captain America, Steve Rogers at point blank range and died on the steps in Captain America #25 (vol. 5). However, this wasn’t the first time Cap had “died”. As everyone knows, he was thought to be dead for many years, but he was found frozen in a block of ice. They say that this time he is really dead, but everyone knows that there are only three dead characters left: Bucky, Uncle Ben and Jason Todd. So far we’ve seen two of them in the land of the living, so…

Website design By BotEap.comThis woman has died more times than one can remember. The most prolific of her deaths was during the Dark Phoenix Saga, of course, when the Phoenix Force took over her body. She naturally returned. And then she died again. And then she came back. And she died. And so on and so on. Apparently she really is dead this time, and Scott Summers has finally moved on…with Emma Frost!

Website design By BotEap.comThere has never been so much death in a book. First, in X-Force, the entire team was killed. With a new name and a new team, the killing began anew. One by one, the members were killed in the greatest comic book death parody ever seen.

Website design By BotEap.comGranted, he’s not part of the regular Marvel Universe continuity, but back when Marvel had the GI Joe license, they killed off Cobra Commander and even went to the trouble of burying him. However, in issue #100, the hooded familiar figure graced the cover with the words “I’m Back!”. It was a very shocking reveal and issue, and a great time to be a GI Joe fan!

There are some pretty notable ones, and a lot of not so notable ones scattered about the walls and hallways of the Marvel Universe. Death and the comic, the comic and death. One has to wonder when Uncle Ben will be walking down Main Street.
