Be sure to bring your driver’s license or permit along with any vehicle registration certificates. You would need a temporary import permit for the vehicle to cross the Mexican border, and Belize customs officials would very well provide it. Do not speed up and stay on the right side of the roads.

A US$0.75 security fee is payable when entering Belize by plane and taking another on Belize flights. There is a US$5 visa charge when entering Guatemala (to see the site) via the western border; and a departure tax of US$3.50 is collected when leaving Belize on this western side.
