The Jaguar XJ goes further

Website design By BotEap.comThe Jaguar XJ has been around since 1968, but this is the first time the manufacturer has really overhauled its legendary model. Jaguar claims to offer “fast, beautiful cars” and it seems the XJ has been injected with some of the extra firepower, while improving looks and still being superior in quality.

Website design By BotEap.comThe XJ looks futuristic at the rear with a roaring yet refined animal look at the front; showing off its shiny grill nicely. It has been carefully designed with sleek lines that extend from the headlights to the center and reappear at the rear. From the side, the XJ is as well designed as a bullet to cut through the air. She doesn’t shy away from controversy in the appearance department, preferring to face it head-on, which is admirable.

Website design By BotEap.comThe interior of an XJ is a beautiful place to be hour after hour of travel. It looks awesome in black and feels like you’re flying a military plane instead of a road car; since the air vents look like jet engines. The center console is sleek and refined as you’d expect, but it can be reflected on those rare occasions when the sun comes out.

Legroom in the rear is amazing, and headroom won’t be lacking either. The XJ’s exterior is impressive, but the comfort and quality of the interior mean you won’t mind being inside.

Website design By BotEap.comThis is where Jaguar aims to be super responsive and super smooth as you go. It has pulled it off well with effortless pace and refinement to boot. Like all big cars, diesels are really what sells and it’s no different here. The diesel options are remarkably quiet, but still give you enough oomph to go from 0 to 60 mph in around six seconds. In addition, in official tests they can do 40 mpg, which offers great economy for such a large sedan.

Website design By BotEap.comHandling isn’t always the best for a big Jaguar, but the XJ slides effortlessly around corners. The subtlety of the steering guides you without making you think too much about it. The XJ will make long drives pale in distant memory even though it has a firmer ride than you’d imagine from previous versions. If you’re looking for comfort, you won’t find anything better in its class.
